ASI held in connection with SIs death

KOLLAM: A sub-inspector of police attached to the Armed Reserve camp, Pathanamthitta, who was found lying in a pool of blood near his quarters around 2.30 am on Wednesday, died at a private hospital here.He has been identified as Rajasekharan Nair of Kaveri, Kattachal Road, Thirumala, Thiruvananthapuram.He was residing at the Police Quarters at Ashramam.Ajith Kumar, an assistant sub-inspector attached to the Kollam East police station, is under police custody in connection with the incident.Police have reportedley taken one more person into custody who was allegedly present in a party at Kumar’s quarters nearby on Tuesday night.
