KOLLAM: The special investigation team probing the assault on teacher at Valakam on Tuesday night is groping in the dark in the absence of any definite clue.With rumours and assumptions on various possibilities of the attack gaining strength, the special investigation team, coordinated by the South Zone IG, has formed smaller groups to probe into various aspects of the case.The statement of the victim has become crucial in this context.The probe team is looking into every possibility as they have already interrogated various people connected to Krishnakumar.His colleagues at RVV HSS, Valakam, were interrogated on Friday.The astrologer, Sreekumar of Kadakkal, whom Krishnakumar is said to have met on Tuesday night, confirmed during interrogation that the teacher had consulted him on that day and his son had dropped him at Nilamel junction.Sreekumar said that Krishnakumar had been consulting him for the past one month regarding the problems related to the sale of a land.The astrologer is said to have given him the advice to visit Palani temple.People close to the teacher have given hint that he had financial problems.
