Bangalore: 5 held for prostitution

BANGALORE: The sleuths of the Women and Narcotic Squad of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) have arrested five persons including a woman, who allegedly forced women into prostitution, and rescued nine women from their clutches.
The accused have been identified as Anju Singh alias Maria Singh (50), Muskan Roy (28), Devagan Roy (28), Krishna (27), all natives of Darjeeling, and Rakesh (37), a resident of Ejipura.According to the police, the accused had brought women from West Bengal by and forced them into prostitution. They had kept them in a house in Ejupura Fifth Cross. They charged ` 5,000 to `10,000 from the customers.
