NEW DELHI: The CBI on Wednesday raided the premises of  high-profile retired bureaucrat R S P Sinha, ex- chairman-cum-managing director (CMD) of MTNL, and several other senior officials and Noida-based HCL Infosystems for allegedly inflating the cost of setting up a broadcast network for the Commonwealth Games (CWG) by nearly `400 crore.Other MTNL officials whose premises were raided are executive director S M Talwar, general manager (corporate sales) N K Jain and Deputy General Manager (DGM) Jitendra Garg. The agency registered an FIR against these officials on Wednesday and simultaneously conducted raids in their offices in Delhi, Noida, Jaipur and Patna.CBI spokesperson Dharini Mishra said that during searches conducted so far, documents relating to immovable and movable property belonging to accused persons and other “incriminating documents” have been recovered.
