CM releases Odisha Telephone Directory

BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik released the Odisha Telephone Directory-2011 in Delhi.The 154-page telephone directory contains details of functionaries of Odisha in the State and in Delhi.It also provides information on various dignitaries and officials of the Centre in Delhi.The directory provides vital facts about Odisha and captures the growth story of the State witnessed during the last decade.The growth story reveals that Odisha is steadily rising and poised to lead the nation in the years to come, a release here said.The directory is enriched by the visuals of the Rath Yatra of Puri, mesmerising sculpture of Lord Ganesh and two paintings by the noted artists of the State, all highlighting Odisha’s impressive heritage and rich culture.Releasing the directory at Odisha Bhavan, the Chief Minister expressed the hope that it would serve the needs of different users having interest in Odisha.It has been compiled by the office of the principal resident commissioner.Sunil Kumar Bhargava, principal resident commissioner, Vipin Saxena, special resident commissioner and other officials of Odisha Bhavan/ Odisha Niwas and Liaison office were present.
