Mumbai: The controversy surrounding reality TV show Bigg Boss 4 has taken a new turn with cable operators in Mumbai blocking Colors, the entertainment channel, from 7 pm on Wednesday. The show is telecast at 9 pm daily.
Earlier, the Shiv Sena had reportedly issued an ultimatum to Colors to eject the two Pakistani stars, Veena Malik and Begum Nawazish Ali, from the show by 6 pm on Wednesday, failing which they would have the channel blocked.
A Colors spokesperson said that the cable operators have decided to completely block the channel by 9 pm, when the Bigg Boss show episode is scheduled to go on air.
While many viewers who have expressed disappointment at being deprived of the show, they have a reason to cheer. All the footage is available on the official website, bb4.in.com. The latest episodes get uploaded within an hour of telecast.
