A petition has been filed in the Rajasthan HC which equates Santhara with suicide, euthanasia and Sati.
The Rajasthan High Court on Thursday will hear a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) challenging the Jain practice of Santhara, a religious ritual of fasting unto death.
