Vision India, a consulting and market analytic firm, organised a retirement lifestyle showcase — Celebrating Age – India Expo 2012 — over the weekend, in collaboration with the International Longevity Centre India (ILC-I).
The two-day expo, inaugurated by actor-director Mohan Sharma, showcased activities that saw the participation of the elderly.
The idea was to enrich their retirement life and propagate products, services and opportunities that would help them lead an eventful life even after their retirement. It touched upon several aspects of retired life and stressed the importance of planning one’s retirement.The expo included free Yoga, Taichi and Reiki workshops as well.
Sankara Nethralaya conducted a free eye check up for senior citizens.
Other activities included bhajans and several interactive entertainment programmes for the attendees.
