HYDERABAD: Fire broke out in the busy Abids damaging an aluminium workshop and an optical store in the locality on Sunday afternoon.
According to the fire fighting officials, flames erupted from the aluminium workshop around 1.25 p.m and soon they spread to the adjacent optical store.One each fire tender from Gowliguda, Musheerabad, Malakpet, Moghulpura and Secunderabad reached the place and began dousing the flames.

Being Sunday, the workshop was closed and the fire personnel had to break open the shutters with crowbars. Locals too helped them.

Though the exact reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained, fire officials suspect electrical short circuit behind the mishap. No one was injured in the mishap.
