Fishing harbour at Poonthura soon

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Government on Thursday agreed in principle to construct a fishing harbour in Poonthura. The decision came at a meeting convened by Ports Minister K Babu.The Central Water Power and Research Station, Pune, will be entrusted with the job of conducting a feasibility study.    Transport Minister V S Sivakumar, Ports and Harbour Engineering secretary Manoj Joshi, Harbour Engineering Department chief engineer N Mohankumar were also present on the occasion.
