TIRUCHY: Former Minister K N Nehru’s brother K N Ramajeyam and Deputy Mayor M Anbalagan, who have been already lodged in the prison in connection with a land grab case, were produced before the Judicial Magistrate Court here on Wednesday in connection with another case of land grab.Nehru, his brother Ramajeyam, Anbalgam and others were arrested on charged of alleged land grab case related to the construction of Kalaignar Arivalaya, DMK District headquarters and Nehru was lodged in Cuddalore prison, while his brother Ramajeyam was sent to Palayamkottai prison Palayamkottai and Anbalagan to Salem prison.Meanwhile, a fresh complaint against them was lodged by a realtor and on Monday with the City police, who registered a case against 10 persons, including Nehru, Ramajeyam, Anbalagan and others. Subsequently the police arrested Kottapattu Shanmugam (53), Kottapattu Sedhu (56), Kamaraj (60), Madhankumar (37), Karthi (30) who were allegedly involved in the offence.On Wednesday, Ramajeyam and Anbalagan were produced before the Judicial Magistrate Court, which remanded them to judicial custody. Subsequently, Ramajeyam was sent to Palayamkottai prison and Anbalagan to Salem prison.
