Government gives Rs 401.1 crore relief package for hailstorm-hit farmers

Rajasthan government has granted a financial relief of Rs 401.10 crore to farmers whose crops were destroyed due to hailstorm in February this year.

The assistance was approved as per the demand from 2,669 villages of 22 districts, according to Disaster Management and Relief Secretary Kunjilal Meena. He said affected villages of Ajmer, Alwar, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Baran, Bikaner, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Churu, Dausa, Dungarpur, Ganganagar, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Jodhpur, Kota, Karauli, Nagaur, Sawaimadhopur, Tonk and Pratapgarh districts will be benefited with the government's decision.
