Watch: Siblings Wakeboarding On Waterlogged Road Is Creativity At Its Peak
The now-viral video offered a refreshing contrast to popular perception of a phone-addicted younger generation.

It is often said that the best games or toys are not bought but made by kids with their creativity and improvisation. A video that proves it is now raking in likes. The amusing video shows two young siblings, against the backdrop of a partially waterlogged road. While one of the boys stands on the dry part of the road, another boy stands on a skateboard over the waterlogged part of the road. The boy on the skateboard holds a rope that is tied to his brother’s waist.

After taking their positions, the boy on the dry side of the road launches into a sprint and tugs on his brother who starts wakeboarding over the water. Both of them show perfect coordination and balance as they create a splash over the flooded road. This wholesome video was shared by their father Ryan Enk on his Instagram account where it got over one million likes.

In the comments, many expressed appreciation for the brother’s ingenuity and interest in outdoor activities. Many people pointed out how the video offered a refreshing contrast to popular perception of a phone-addicted younger generation. An Instagram user commented on it, “So nice to see the boys outside playing a newly invented game, instead of being home on the sofa playing video games.” Another person wrote, “This is dope because it’s fun for the person on the board but also improves the speed of the person running.”

People also recalled playing the same game when they were younger. An Instagram user wrote, “Kids having fun. We did this in the early 60s with a sheet of tin. Little more dangerous.” Another person remarked, “Very original. We played like this when I was in High school in Saint Joseph High School Trichy. The corridor was almost 250 ft long with a smooth floor. One student would lay on the floor and a friend would pull him by the hands all through the corridor.”

Someone observed, “The Canadian prairie snowboarding legends the McMorris brothers started this way in the snow, pulling each other by a rope on the back of a snowmobile. Mark won Olympic gold cheered on by his big bro. Look up the documentary “Unbroken” made about Mark if you want your faith restored in human potential and the whole “where there’s a will there’s a way” vibe.”
