Gurgaon's most wanted encountered by cops in Mumbai
Gurgaon gangster Sandeep Gadoli was killed in a shootout in Mumbai. He had 36 cases registered against him.

Mumbai: A notorious criminal Sandeep Gadoli wanted in several cases by the Gurgaon police was killed in an encounter in a Mumbai hotel on Sunday.

Gadoli - who kept Gurgaon Police on its toes for more than two decades - had 40 cases registered against him. He was also involved in the killing of Binder Gujjar's (ward 21 councilor) driver in Gurgaon and was carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh on his head.

Police sources said, few days ago crime unit of Gurgaon police got tip-off that Gadoli and his gang members are hiding in a hotel at Andheri East in Mumbai.

A team of policemen went to Mumbai and raided the hotel. But the gangster and his men fired aiming at the policemen. In retaliation, Gadoli was killed in the encounter.

Two policemen injured in the shootout and they were taken to a local hospital.

A senior official confirmed the news and said the operation is still on.
