ISACA celebrates silver jubilee

CHENNAI: ISACA Chennai Chapter held a conference on Trust in and value from Information System on Saturday as part of its Silver Jubilee celebrations.ISACA Chennai Chapter is the first chapter to be established in India in 1986. It is an independent not-for-profit global association and has its international headquarters in Illinois, USA.ISACA provides practical guidance, benchmarks and other effective tools for all enterprises that use information systems. Through its comprehensive guidance and services, ISACA defines the roles of information systems governance, security, audit and assurance professionals worldwide.The international President of ISACA and IT Governance Institute, Mr.Kenneth L.Vander Wal, CISA, CPA delivered the key note address at the conference.ISACA started as EDP Auditors association in 1967 with few members and now has a membership of more than 86,000 professionals with 186 chapters and has its presence in more than 160 countries.
