Ponnagudi village in Tamil Nadu is currently in the headlines due to a poster being put up by youths. The poster alleged that an elderly man in Ponnakudi has been sabotaging marriages by spreading false information about youngsters.
The man has reportedly been doing this for several months, and as a result, over 50 young people in the village have been unable to get married.
“We strongly condemn those who spread these falsehoods in Ponnagudi town,” read the poster written in Tamil.
People have questioned the intentions of the person. They have also asked how will the person react if this happened in his family.
In the video shared by Local18 Tamil, we can see the posters put up on both sides of the road. Passersby are seen taking a pause and reading the details shared in the posters.
As of now, locals have failed to identify the group behind the posters. The village administration hasn’t reacted to the issue.
