BANGALORE: A school principal and a teacher were arrested by the KG Halli police on Friday for sexually harassing a 13-year-old student and later assaulting the her mother. The accused are identified as Mohammad Imtiaz Pasha, 52, Principal of Royal English School on Tannery Road and Masooda Begum, the maths teacher of the school.According to the police, the victim is a sixth standard student.On Friday morning, Pasha allegedly brought the student to his chamber and locked her inside on some pretext. He allegedly kissed and misbehaved with her. However, the girl managed to escape.“Later, the girl’s mother went to school with neighbours and questioned the principal about this. Supporting the principal, some teachers allegedly assaulted her. Following a complaint, the principal and Begum were arrested,” the police explained.
