BANGALORE: The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) will soon issue complaint card to consumers. BESCOM managing director P Manivannan said that the aim of the initiative is to avoid consumers bribing linemen. Once the repair is completed, lineman will have to fillup complaint card, which contains the complaint number and redressal number.
BESCOM has started to issue the complaint cards in the city. "We have already printed 50,000 cards. People can ask for these complaint cards from their area linemen," BESCOM MD said. Consumers will have to sign the card and mention the time when the problem was addressed, including the time taken to complete the work. The complaint card will have the mobile number of executive engineer of the concerned area.

If the consumer is still unsatisfied, problems can be addressed to the executive engineer of the concerned area.
