Take firm stand on Lanka

PUDUCHERRY: The AIADMK and DMK should take a firm stand against the Centre if it decides to back the Sri Lanka government by voting against the US-backed resolution in the United Nations Human Rights Council, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) chief Thol Thirumavalavan said here on Friday.Talking to reporters, he said the fact that the ruling AIADMK and the opposition DMK had compelled the Centre to support the US resolution was a “good change”.
