One of the famed heroes of the family is Varun Tej, son of Telugu actor and filmmaker Nagendra Babu and nephew of superstar Chiranjeevi. His wedding with actress Lavanya Tripathi had everyone’s attention. Now, the actor has grabbed headlines this time after reports emerged that he might need surgery.
The rumour mills are strife with reports that Varun Tej will be undergoing an operation. Reportedly, he had sustained a small injury on his leg and now, it has become serious for which the doctors suggested surgery to treat it. While there has been no official confirmation regarding the same, fans are left worried.
Varun Tej first marked his debut as a child artist in his father’s film, Hands Up at the age of ten. Finally, as an adult, he made his debut with Mukunda opposite Pooja Hegde. He has till now worked in films like Fidaa, Loafer, Mister, F3: Fun and Frustration and Gandeevadhari Arjuna, to name a few. He was last seen in the film Operation Valentine opposite Manushi Chhillar directed by Shakti Pratap Singh Hada.
Talking about his personal life, Varun Tej first met Lavanya Tripathi on the sets of the film Mister and eventually fell in love with each other. They worked on the film Antariksham 9000 KMPH in 2018. In 2023, the couple got engaged in June and tied the knot in November in Tuscany, Italy. After a grand reception, the couple jetted off for their honeymoon. As per sources, the newlyweds enjoyed the snow-capped mountains in Finland.
Currently, Varun Tej is gearing up for his upcoming film, Matka, a period drama written and directed by Karuna Kumar. It also stars Meenakshi Chowdary, Nora Fatehi, Naveen Chandra and others.
