Mahesh Babu and Vijayashanti, who last acted together in the 1989 film Koduku Diddina Kapuram, reunited after 30 years for Sarileru Neekevvaru which was released in 2020. In Koduku Diddina Kapuram, Mahesh Babu took on the role of Vijayashanti’s son, marking his first venture into dual roles as a child artist. The film had a cast including Krishna, Mohan Babu, Gummadi, Prabhakar Reddy, Giri Babu and Pradeep Shakti.
Mahesh Babu shared a throwback photo from their earlier collaboration in 2019, showcasing a young Mahesh standing alongside Vijayashanti on the sets of Koduku Diddina Kapuram. The Guntur Kaaram actor shared an old picture with Vijayashanti on Instagram with the caption, “It all started here: Year – 1989, location – sets of Koduku Diddina Kapuram… 30 years later… I’m working with Vijayashanti Garu once again in #SarileruNeekevvaru… Life has come a full circle… #throwbackthursday #nostalgia.”

Mahesh Babu, presently in Germany for training for his upcoming collaboration with SS Rajamouli, shared pictures from a trekking session with Dr Harry Koenig. The viral photos capture Mahesh’s high spirits amidst the picturesque landscapes of the Black Forest. Donning a beige jacket, hoodie, grey trousers, Adidas cap, and blue sneakers, he exudes adventure. Dr Harry Koenig complements the scene in a blue puffer jacket, dark grey pants, a black cap, and grey and white shoes.

Following the successful celebrations of Guntur Kaaram, Mahesh Babu embarked on a solo trip to Germany. At the airport, he was accompanied by his wife, Namrata Shirodkar, who came to see him off. Reports suggested that Mahesh was off to Germany to finalise technical aspects for his upcoming project with SS Rajamouli.
