Kalki 2898 AD is maintaining its steady run at the box office. On the 16th day, Nag Ashwin’s masterpiece grossed Rs 6 crore across languages, according to a report by Sacnilk. So far, the mythological sci-fi drama has grossed Rs 549.35 crore share, the report added. Kalki 2898 AD, which was released on June 27, stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan in lead roles.
As per the film’s production company, Vyajayanthi Films, the film has entered the Rs 1000 crore club worldwide. They shared a poster on X with the caption “Epic Maha Blockbuster Rs 1000 crore”.
On this occasion, Vizag City Wide Prabhas Fans Association celebrated its success in Visakhapatnam. Members of the Prabhas Fans Association celebrated the event with the orphans. Subbaiah Chaudhary, Head of Annapurna Studios Pvt Ltd., was the chief guest. After the film was a huge success and grossed Rs 1000 crore, they cut the cake and distributed it to the children followed by sweets, books and stationery. Since the film announcement, Prabhas fans celebrated all the events like the release of the trailer, teaser and the film in a grand manner. Prabhas fans organise many events across Visakhapatnam.
Praveen, President of Vizag City Wide Prabhas Fans Association said on the occasion that he was happy with Kalki’s record of Rs 1000 crore worldwide. He wishes Prabhas to break more such records and make more films. He said that every film should entertain film lovers and make them feel great, Prabhas will make such good films in future too. He added that Prabhas was happy by distributing books and sweets to orphans. Praveen, President of Vizag City Wide Prabhas Fans Association, Prithvi, Nukaraju, Reddy, Shiva, Coconut Grove Raju and others participated.
The film has been released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Produced by Ashwini Dutt’s Vyjayanthi Movies, Kalki 2898 AD is the first instalment in the Kalki universe.
