Krushna Abhishek’s wife and actress Kashmera Shah expressed her happiness as Govinda attended Arti Singh’s wedding reception in Mumbai on Thursday. Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja have been in a feud with Krushna and Kashmera for the past eight years. So it came as a big surprise when Govinda came and gave his blessings to Krushna’s younger sister Arti. Krushna and Arti are Govinda’s nephew and niece.
“Hum sab log bahut khush hai aaj (We all are very happy today),” Krushna and Kashmera told Instant Bollywood. When asked if she touched Govinda’s feet, she said, “Obviously, ye bolne ki baat nahi hai. He’s always been very sweet. Unhone mere dono bachchon ko bless kiya and aashirvaad diya (He gave blessings to both of my kids). I’m very, very happy.”
Govinda looked dapper in black bandhgala as he made a grand entry to Arti’s reception. He greeted paparazzi with a flying kiss. However, he avoided posing for the shutterbugs and directly headed inside the venue. Reacting to Govinda’s presence at his sister’s wedding celebrations, Krushna told Instant Bollywood, “Maama aaye bahut khushi hui. I was so happy to see him. Wo dil ki baat hai. Humara emotional connect hai.”
Govinda and Krushna’s fallout happened in 2016 when the former was doing promotional appearances on TV shows for his comeback movie Jagga Jassos. He was also seen on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ along with his wife Sunita and daughter Tina instead of the rival ‘Comedy Nights Live’, which was hosted by Krushna.
Govinda didn’t turn up on Krushna’s show because he was upset with the latter’s “Maine Govinda ko apna mama rakha hai (I have kept Govinda as my uncle)” comment that Krushna had made on his show.
Things became worse after Krushna’s wife, Kashmera, made a controversial tweet about “people who dance for money”. Govinda’s wife Sunita felt that Kashmera was taking a jibe at her actor-husband.
