Thalapathy 69 is one of the most-awaited films in the Tamil film industry. Even before the official launch of the film, expectations were at their peak as Vijay announced his 69th film as his last film before his political entry. H Vinoth is said to be directing Thalapathy 69 though there is no official confirmation on this report yet. Meanwhile, the latest report on Thalapathy 69 has got fans in a frenzy as Premalu actress Mamitha Baiju is said to be sharing screen space with Vijay.
According to Indiaglitz Tamil, the casting of Thalapathy 69 is underway while Mamitha Baiju has reportedly been roped in for a crucial role in Vijay’s film.
Vijay is said to have undergone a look test in Chennai a few days ago and the actor has reportedly finalised his look for his last film as an actor. Thalapathy 69 is said to be a social film and it will be a memorable film of Vijay with which he completes his journey as an actor.
Mamitha Baiju recently made her Tamil debut with Rebel and starred in the emotional college drama opposite GV Prakash Kumar. However, the actress rose to fame with her role in the Malayalam romantic drama Premalu and the Tamil dubbed version of the film also had a historic success at the Tamil Nadu box office. Mamitha Baiju has signed more films in Tamil and she already has three films in Tamil apart from Thalapathy 69.
She made her debut in Sarvopari Palakkaran in 2017. She is known for her roles in Operation Java (2021), Super Sharanya (2022) and Pranaya Vilasam (2023). Her latest film Premalu (2024) became the third highest-grossing film in the Malayalam film industry.
