Srinidhi Shetty Roped In For HIT 3, Joins Nani As The Female Lead

A leading name in the Telugu film industry, Nani is prepping for the release of the third instalment of the HIT franchise, in which he will be portraying the lead. As per a new update on the project, the makers have finalised the female lead; a name featuring in one of the biggest Indian films. Here are all the details related to the news.

Going by the media reports, the HIT 3 makers have roped in KGF fame, Srinidhi Shetty as the newest cast of the project. The Hi Nanna actor took to his official X handle to announce with a tweet and an adorable click of the actress. He tweeted, “Other side of the madness ???? Welcome on board @SrinidhiShetty7 #Hit3.” The image shows Srinidhi sporting a shy smile, which Nani looks on, standing opposite her.

The actress shared the news on her official Instagram handle, with a little note of gratitude towards the makers and the cast for the opportunity. She wrote in the caption, “Another piece of my heart – HIT3. I’m beyond thrilled to be part of this one. Thank you @nameisnani @saileshkolanu for this wonderful opportunity.”

HIT 3, also called HIT: The Third Case is going to be helmed by Sailesh Kolanu, who is also credited as its writer. The cast includes Nani, Srinidhi Shetty, Adivi Sesh and Vishwak Sen. The film is being produced by Prashanti Tipirneni under the banner of Wall Poster Cinema. The music for the film will be composed by Mickey J Meyer. The cinematographer is Sanu John Varghese, while Karthika Srinivas is the editor. HIT 3 will have its theatrical release on May 1, 2025.

Srinidhi was last seen in the Tamil film Cobra, released in 2022. It was directed by R Ajay Gnanamuthu and starred Vikram, Srinidhi Shetty, Roshan Mathew, Miya George and others. S S Lalit Kumar produced the film under the banner of Seven Screen Studio while A R Rahman gave the music.
