The megastar became the third winner of the Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Award, following Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Asha Bhosle. Even before its release, the film has already generated a lot of talk and excitement among fans. Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, is expected to be the year’s largest cinematic event.

On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan has been filming his Tamil debut film. He will appear in Thalaivar 170 alongside Rajinikanth. TJ Ganavel, who directed Jai Bhim, will helm the film, which will also include Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier and Dushara Vijayan in key parts.
