New Delhi: Showing signs of unhappiness with the reshuffle in the Union Cabinet, Congress leader and former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Digvijaya Singh on Sunday said that he was 'a bit disappointed' as no leader from Madhya Pradesh was included in the Cabinet. However, he said that the all the party leaders and workers from the state will work with full force to make inroads for victory in the 2014 General Elections.
"Cabinet reshuffle is up to the Prime Minister and Congress president Sonia Gandhi. Madhya Pradesh was a bit disappointed. But we will get ready for the election and work with full force there," Singh said.
Earlier, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh effected a major Cabinet reshuffle on Sunday, giving away the major share to Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal to counter the Telangana forces in the former and ex-ally Mamata Banerjee of the Trinamool Congress in the latter.
