Ghaziabad: Former BJP president Rajnath Singh has described Mahatma Gandhi as a bridge between politics and spiritualism. Rajnath Singh was speaking at a symposium on 'Increasing Intolerance In Society: Its Reasons and Remedies', organised by the Ghaziabad Bar Association.
Focussing on the characteristics of Indian society, the former Uttar Pradesh chief minister on Saturday said India had been the world leader in spiritualism and tolerance, but had got caught in the materialistic race.
He urged people to adopt spiritualism and meditation to control the lust for money as Mahatma Gandhi had.
