New Delhi: Google's Trusted Voice smart lock feature that allows users to unlock devices with their voice is being rolled out to Android Lollipop users.
While the feature was introduced with Google Play Services 7.0 last month, it wasn't visible in the app settings just yet. However, multiple users of the latest OS have now stated that the fully formed feature is visible.
A report on Android Police notes that under Settings menu, you can enable the feature. All you need to do is tap on Security and then on Smart Lock, which will lead you to Google's app settings.
A warning advises that Trusted Voice unlocking is less secure than other options as anyone with a similar voice could unlock your device, but just a couple taps and you'll be able to unlock and execute commands on your secured device by simply uttering 'Ok Google.'
However, the feature is still being rolled out and you might have to wait a little for your turn to arrive.
