The unusual marketing strategy has caught the attention of social media users, with one individual going by the moniker The Bengaluru Man sharing the news online. According to the post, Lokesh has managed to attract over 600 drivers to join Nano Travels, a remarkable achievement in a city renowned for its fiercely competitive transportation sector.

The news further piqued interest as Nano Travels expanded its footprint by launching the iOS version of its app, extending its services to Apple users.

The announcement was accompanied by a photo of Nano Travels’ pamphlet, featuring contact details for customer service, emphasising Lokesh’s hands-on approach to marketing his venture directly to his Uber passengers.

Social media users expressed a mix of surprise and admiration for Lokesh’s entrepreneurial spirit. One user shared a personal experience, recalling, “There was this taxi driver Lokesh who once gave me a ride from the airport. He was very enterprising and asked me to call him in case I needed a ride to the airport and said he has a group of taxi drivers that work together. Wonder if it’s the same guy.”

What started as a typical commute took an unexpected turn when the passenger requested the QR code for payment. Surprisingly, the auto driver effortlessly presented his smartwatch instead of the conventional laminated paper containing the QR code.
