Watch: Argument Over Seat Inside Delhi Metro Takes Ugly Turn, Internet Thinks It's 'Normal'
An elderly man lost his temper over a young man who was sitting beside him inside the Delhi metro.

Delhi Metro has become a hotspot of arguments, brawls and fights despite strict warnings from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). Travelling inside the Delhi metro means one should be ready to witness unruly travellers and individuals behaving inappropriately at stations and inside train coaches. From couples having PDA moments and getting into heated arguments to passengers fighting over seats, the Delhi Metro has seen it all. Social media videos are proof of these behaviours, where Delhiites go all out with their fights inside the transport.

Just when we believed that all the brawls and fights had ended, a video surfaced on the internet, adding to the list and debunking our beliefs. Recently, two passengers were recorded fighting inside a moving train over a seat issue. During the altercation, an elderly man lost his temper over a person sitting beside him. He too busted out responding rudely to the elderly.

The clip was originally shared by a handle ‘Arhant Shelby’ on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), tagging the popular handle ‘Ghar ke kalesh,’ which often shares such videos. Re-sharing the post on their account, they captioned, “Kalesh b/w a man and a guy inside Delhi Metro over seat issues.”

Soon after being posted, the clip gained significant traction on the internet, triggering many reactions. Social media users took to the comment section to share their take on the same. Most people dubbed such fights ‘common’ and cracked jokes, calling it a normal day in Delhi Metro, while others highlighted the younger man’s ‘wrong way’ of handling the matter and speaking to the elderly in such a rude manner.

“Clashes have become common in Delhi Metro these days! Someone is fighting for the seat and someone is making reels and dancing,” a user wrote.

An individual expressed, “How is he talking to an older guy? I feel sorry for Uncle.”

“Again, Delhi Metro,” added another person.

An account posted, “Delhi Metro should be renamed as Kaleshi Metro.”

“Finally, Delhi metro kalesh is back,” tweeted a user.

Habituated with the daily fights in the metro, an X user commented, “Just a normal day in Delhi metro.”

“He should learn how to talk to elders,” wrote a person.

The post was shared on March 8, and till now, it has been viewed 142,800 times by social media users.
