The India Post for Karnataka released a notification to recruit 27 candidates for the driver post. These posts are going to be Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial, and General Central Service Group C.

The India Post released a notice on the recruitment of 27 Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) posts for Karnataka. The notice was published in the Employment News in April. A total number of 27 candidates are going to be recruited in this recruitment drive. These posts are going to be Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial, and General Central Service Group C. The last date of application and other other important details are mentioned below.

Educational Qualification:

A. The candidate has to possess a valid driving license for light and heavy Motors vehicles

B. The Candidate has to have Knowledge of Motor Mechanisms and should necessarily be able to remove minor defects in the vehicle

C. The candidate has to have experience of driving light and heavy Motor vehicle at least three years

D. Candidate has to have passed the 10th standard from a recognized Board or Institute.

The candidate has to be between the ages of 18 to 27 years. Interested and eligible people can send their applications to the address “The Manager, Mail Motor Service, Bengaluru-560001” on or before May 14, 2024. The letter is required to be enclosed with “Application for the post of Staff Car Driver (Direct Recruitment) at MMS Bengaluru” clearly mentioned on the cover.

The last date of application is May 14, 2024. Interested candidates are required to send their application before this date to be considered eligible. Candidates are instructed to refer to the official page and notification for the details.

Candidates upon selection will get paid under Pay Level 2, 7th CPC. The remuneration will be Rs. 19900-63200/- + Admissible allowances.

The region-wise vacancy is 4 candidates for the N K Region and 23 candidates for the BG (HQ) Region.
