The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has released the schedule for the Group-I Services preliminary test in Telangana. According to the recent announcement, the preliminary test is scheduled to be held on June 9, 2024. Candidates who have applied for the Group-I Services examination are advised to visit the official website of TSPSC, tspsc.gov.in, for updates and information regarding their application status and admit card.
Candidates appearing for the TSPSC Group 1 exam can expect to receive their admit cards from the Telangana Commission seven days prior to the examination. The admit cards will be available for download for a maximum of four hours before the exam commences. To download the admit card, candidates need to provide their password, registration number and mobile number. The main TSPSC Group 1 exam is tentatively scheduled to take place in September or October 2024.

Step 1: Visit the official website, tspsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Once the admit card link is available, click on it to access the TSPSC exam admit card.
Step 3: Enter your login credentials and complete the registration process.
Step 4: Verify all the necessary details mentioned on the admit card.
Step 5: Print the admit card for your reference and records.
TSPSC Group I Exam Pattern:
There will be two phases of the TSPSC Group 1 selection procedure. Below are the details of the examination procedure:
Exam for TSPSC Group 1 Prelims –
For the Group 1 prelims exam, candidates will undergo an objective test covering general academics and mental ability. This test assesses applicants’ knowledge for advancement to the written (main) exam. The preliminary exam will be conducted in three languages: English, Telugu and Urdu.
TSPSC Group 1 Mains Examination-
The main examination will be held in English, Telugu and Urdu. Except for General English, all papers in the Main Examinations must be answered in English, Telugu or Urdu, as chosen by the candidates. There will be questions related to History, Geography, Indian politics, Science, Economics and the movement and formation of the Telangana state.
The TSPSC recruitment drive intends to fill 563 positions for deputy collector, deputy superintendent of police, regional transport officer, assistant audit officer, Mandal Parishad development officer and other positions within the organisation. The exam will be administered in 33 districts with candidates given the option of selecting 10 district centres of their choice.
