Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) S George on Tuesday instructed senior police officer of southern and central districts to make elaborate security arrangements for Immanuel Sekaran’s Anniversary which falls on September 11.
After making an on-the-spot study of security at Paramkudi on Monday, George advised the officers to be polite with participants of the anniversary.
A review meeting was organised in the backdrop of some unwanted incident that occurred during the Immanuel Sekaran’s anniversary at the Five-point Junction at Paramakudi last year.
“I personally assessed the Five-point Junction, approach road to the memorial and parking arrangements for the anniversary on Monday.
Routes through which volunteers will be allowed to reach the memorial and the return route to be taken after paying homage were also discussed,” George told Express.
