Andhra Girl, Missing For 9 Years, Rescued From Jammu After Pawan Kalyan's Order
Police visited Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Rajasthan and other places in search of the girl, Tejaswini. The girl was finally rescued from Jammu.

A girl from the city of Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh, suddenly went missing nine months ago. Her parents searched for her in many places but were unable to trace their daughter. Following that, they approached the local police. The police registered a case and started the investigation.

The police tried for several months but failed to trace the missing girl. After a long time of waiting, the girl’s mother approached the newly elected Deputy Chief Minister of the state Pawan Kalyan informing him about her concerns. Pawan Kalyan then immediately ordered the police to increase the priority of the case and solve it as soon as possible.

The Police Department of the state paced up the investigation process after receiving the order from the Deputy CM. Pawan Kalyan sent the orders to NTR Police Commissioner PHD Ramakrishna who led the investigation procedure. The Central Zone Police formed special teams to investigate the case.

They reportedly visited Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Rajasthan and other places in search of the girl, Tejaswini. The girl was finally rescued from Jammu. She was living there with her boyfriend Amjad. As per reports, the girl went missing in October, last year.

According to a report by The Hindu, the police commissioner mentioned that Amjad and Tejaswini were pursuing hotel management at a private college in Vijayawada. He said, “The boy and the girl, who were pursuing a hotel management programme at a private college in Vijayawada, have been missing since October last year. They travelled to Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Kerala, Sholapur, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Ajmer before reaching Jammu. They had been living in Jammu since then.”

The reports further stated that they changed their phones and SIM cards so that no one could trace them. Amjad was working as a chef in a local hotel when he was arrested. As per a report by India Today, Amjad has been arrested under the charges of Sections 366 (Kidnapping) and 344 (Wrongful confinement) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
