Bilaspur: Under-construction tunnel partially caves in, 5 labourers feared trapped

In an unfortunate incident in Bilaspur district of Himachal, an under-construction tunnel partially caved in on Saturday. Around 5 labourers are trapped inside the tunnel. Rescue work is underway.

This is one of the 6 tunnels that are currently under construction in the area.

"Construction of 6 tunnels was going on. At around 8.30am when the shift was over, the labourers were coming out when suddenly one tunnel collapsed. There is no casualty, 3 people have been trapped and we are trying to rescue them,"a police officer said.
