Alwar: Three people were killed and five others injured in a bloody clash between two local communities in Musakhera village in Alwar district on Friday night.
All the injured were immediately rushed to SMS Hospital in Jaipur. One of them is said to be in a serious condition.
A senior police official said the incident took place when one Pintoo Singh, along with a few family members, was driving to a hospital in a jeep. On the way, one Kasam Khan parked his camel cart in front of Pintoo's jeep leading to heated arguments.
Soon several people of both the communities gathered at the site and the violence continued till the police intervened.
Police have arrested 24 people in connection with the clash and the entire area has been cordoned off. The district administration says the situation is well under control.
