Government to decide on land value

KOCHI: The decision on the demand by land owners, with respect to the value of 35 acres of land needed for the second phase of Infopark, has been left to the govt.This was agreed upon after a meeting between the land owners and the Infopark authorities presided over by Deputy Collector K P Mohandas Pillai. The land owners demanded Rs 5 lakh for vacant plots and Rs 7 lakh for plots with houses. Thirty five acres of land in Kunnathunadu and Puthencruz villages is needed for the project.
