This is the second grenade attack on security forces in Manipur inside two days. Two Assam Rifles personnel were injured in a grenade blast on Monday at Pologround in Imphal.
Imphal: Nine Assam Rifles troopers were injured after unidentified miscreants hurled two grenades at its Transit Camp near Khuman Lampak Sports Complex in Imphal.
The attack took place around 5:30 pm on Tuesday. The injured have been shifted to Leimakhong Army Hospital.
