Make details of CENTAC admission public: DMK

PUDUCHERRY: Ex-Education Minister S P Sivakumar on Sunday urged the government to release all details regarding the candidates who were given admission to various colleges through the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC).In a statement here, he said that steps should be taken to make public particulars like the regional reservation and sports quota.The deputy convenor of the Puducherry DMK unit also welcomed CM Rangasamy’s announcement that from the next academic year, all students eligible for fee reimbursement through CENTAC would get it in the beginning of the year itself. This was a long-pending demand of the party, he said.
