New Delhi: The main accused in the Bhatta Parsaul violence case was on Saturday arrested in Delhi by the Noida Police. Manveer Tevatia was arrested from Hauz Khas in Delhi and has been taken to Uttar Pradesh.
A reward of Rs 50,000 had been declared on Tevatia, who was accused of inciting the villagers in clashing with the police.
He was also accused of bringing arms into the village.
The unprecedented violence in Bhatta Parsaul in May this year left four dead and several injured when clashes broke out between farmers and the police over land acquisition.
