An unidentified car driver hit and ran over a woman staffer at the Kashi Toll Plaza on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway on being asked to pay. A video of the incident is now being widely shared on the internet.
The viral video shows the unidentified driver engaging with the worker and running her over before abruptly fleeing.

As the driver attempted to escape the scene, the woman toll worker fell onto the car’s bonnet and subsequently slid off as the vehicle departed the scene as the other staff members rushed to her rescue.
The woman received severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital.
The manager of the Kashi Toll Plaza, Anil Sharma, urged the authorities concerned to take proper action against the driver.
He said, “A car coming from Delhi misbehaved with our staff. Upon asking for the toll, the car drove over the staff member, injuring her severely. This is a serious incident and the administration should take proper action so that such incidents do not happen again.”
