Ram Sampath: From DK Bose to 'Rock the Shaadi'

New Delhi: Ram Sampath, who has recent hits such as DK Bose and Switty Switty from 'Delhi Belly' to his credit, has been snapped up for Balaji and iRock's co-production, 'Rock the Shaadi'.

Sampath, who has been offered to score for a host of films since 'Delhi Belly', is said to have taken up 'Rock the Shaadi', as he loved the plot of the film and wanted to work with the banners associated with the film.

The film's music is said to be an assortment of club-friendly, funky and folk, for which Ekta Kapoor and director Navdeep Singh thought Sampath would be the apt choice.

The film is a romantic comedy starring Abhay Deol and Genelia D'Souza, together for the first time.
