WARANGAL: Former minister and supporter of YS Jaganmohan Reddy MLA Konda Surekha said she would resign from her post at 10 a.m. on July 4. She said she has decided to put in her papers in accordance with the proposal that all Telangana legislators should quit their posts en masse for the cause of Telangana.Speaking to mediapersons at her residence on Saturday, she welcomed the decision of Telangana Congress leaders and TRS elected representatives. She appealed to them to ensure that the tendering of resignations did not turn a drama. She suggested that Congress leaders should first resign from their minister posts and then from the MLA post on July 4."Soon after quitting the minister post, leaders should leave their protocol and stay away from the Secretariat," she said and asked them if they would return home in their own car instead of the government vehicle. She said that the TRS chief and MP Vijayasanthi should also quit their posts. "People have many doubts about the talks held by the TRS chief with minister K Jana Reddy in the latter's residence," she said and demanded that details of the discussion should be made public. She reminded that Congress high command issued showcause notice to her. "But the party does not have the guts to initiate action against me," she said.
