Actress Deepika Padukone and ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee make a fabulous team. We say so because while one breathes life into his creations by way of flawless hand-embroideries, traditional motifs, motifs of flora and fauna, and using different techniques and forms of embellishments, keeping heritage and culture alive while maintaining that his ensembles are relevant in modern times, Deepika on the other hand, creates magic and brings alive the beauty and hard work with which the garments have been so carefully and beautifully crafted.
And while we have seen the duo team up on several occassions, Deepika's love for Sabyasachi outfits, especially sarees is quite well-known, recently, the two got together for #SabyasachiForNilaya -- a range of designer wallpapers from the designer, at Nilaya by Asian Paints, that has been inspired from makhmal/velvet representing wealth.
Sabyasachi released the wallpaper collection, that featured his muse Deepika Padukone, online. And while the wallpapers nothing like what we have seen before, we couldn't help take off our eyes from the ethereal beauty that is Deepika.
Deepika, who sported carefully designed Sabyasachi sarees and jewellery, exuded royalness and looked divine as she posed for the cameras for the photoshoot. From sporting a breathtakingly beautiful peach-pink heritage Benarasi saree that featured a marori border with a matching ric blouse to looking stunningly beautiful and graceful in an off-white six-yard wonder, Deepika's beauty is beyond words.
Take a look.
