Janhvi Kapoor is a fashion icon and slays in each and every outfit. From heavy gowns to floor-length ethnics and even plain casuals, the actress can carry off everything with grace. Janhvi has never shied away from experimenting with new fashion trends. Earlier this year, she was seen taking up method dressing to promote her film, Mr and Mrs Mahi. In the latest, for the trailer launch of her upcoming movie Ulajh, she chose a quirky outfit from the fashion label Balmain. Janhvi Kapoor wore a black and white bodycon gown to the trailer launch event. It provided the impression of a blazer dress. The outfit featured notch lapel collars on the front, a strapless style that accentuated the actress’ neckline, and a faux button clasp on the front. Its figure-hugging silhouette and front thigh-high slit added a bold touch to the outfit.
Janhvi styled her dual toned outfit in a minimalistic way. For her accessories, she went for a golden bracelet, striking rings, sunglasses, and black and white heels. For her makeup, she chose to go with nude lips, light shimmering eye shadow, mascara-adorned lashes, cheek rouge, and feathery brows. Lastly, she completed her look with a side-parted, loose hairstyle.
Even during the promotions of Mr and Mrs Mahi, she wore several quirky outfits around the theme of cricket. Among most of her looks, the custom-made midi-length backless cut-out crimson dress was quite popular. The bodycon dress had white stitches that resembled the marks on a red cricket ball. Janhvi’s attire had an extra sporty touch with the little leather balls attached to the back of the dress, which enhanced her entire appearance.
For her makeup, the actress chose to go for rosy cheeks, smokey eyes, darker brows, mascara on her lashes, and a pink lip tint. She left her hair loose as it cascaded down her shoulders.
Ulajh also stars Roshan Mathew and Gulshan Devaiah in pivotal roles. It is helmed by Sudhanshu Saria who co- wrote the script with Parveez Shaikh. The movie, produced under the banner of Junglee Pictures, will be released on August 2, 2024.
