Asif Ali's Malayalam Movie Kishkkindha Kandam Released. Check Initial Response

The film Kishkkindha Kandam has already created a massive craze among fans after it hit the theatres today, September 12. Starring Asif Ali, it is set to brighten the Onam celebration. The trailer released recently, has received an overwhelming response from the audience.

The film is directed by O.P.160/18 Kakshi: Amminippilla fame director Dinjith Ayyathan. The storyline, screenplay and dialogue were penned by Bahul Ramesh while it is produced by Joby George Thadathil under the banner of Goodwill Entertainment.

The film is set on the backdrop of a monkey-inhabited village and jungle. Some strange events take place with a newlywed couple who then try to uncover the truth. The couple also informs the police who also witnesses some strange events. They then start a mission to uncover the root causes of the strange incidents.

In Kishkkindha Kandam, Aparna Balamurali is seen in the female lead role. The film also stars popular actors like Jagadish, Ashokan, Vijayaraghavan, Nizhalgal Ravi, Shebin Benson, Kottayam Ramesh, Nishan, Major Ravi, Gibin Gopinath and Bilas Chandrahasan Nair. The makers posted a poster on social media yesterday introducing the character of Asif Ali.

Talking about the technical team, the film has been edited by Sooraj ES while the cinematography has been done by Bahul Ramesh. The music was composed by Mujeeb Majeed and the art direction department was handled by Sajeesh Thamarassery. The costume was designed by Sameera Saneesh.

Kishkkindha Kandam has already attracted a massive attraction. Thousands of fans have posted about the film on social media.

Sharing the poster on X (formerly Twitter) one fan wrote, “KishKindha Kaandam – is the biggest surprise of the year so far for me. I still haven’t figured out what genre to slot the film in, but it’s a solid mystery film, which is also a beautiful father-son drama. The performances are brilliant, especially by Asif & Vijayaraghvan.”
