According to this calculation, Shankar has spent a huge range of money on his upcoming film. Now, this news has created huge expectations among the viewers.

Earlier, Kamal Haasan shared an update about the budget of the film. The actor said, “The budget was not just decided by the director and the script. COVID-19 decided our budget. Some of the accidents delayed the budget. The tenacity of the producer and the director must be applauded even before the film becomes a hit. It’s very easy to let go if your hand is in pain, you let go. Let me leave this and go to the other one. They did not do that. Not to let go of this child, not to orphan this child was a decision taken by Lyca and Shankar.”

Indian 2 is a Tamil-language vigilante action film directed by S. Shankar, who co-wrote the script with B. Jeyamohan, Kabilan Vairamuthu and Lakshmi Saravana Kumar. Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies co-produced the film.

Indian 2 is the official sequel to Indian, which was released previously on May 9, 1996. The cast of Indian 2 includes Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Rahul Preet Singh, Samuthirakani, Bobby Simha, and Priya Bhavani Shankar.

According to sources, Shankar also used CGI and body doubles to bring late actors Vivek and Nedumudi Venu to life on the big screen.

For the unversed, Indian 2 was unveiled in 2018. The first part of the shooting began in 2019. The COVID-19 outbreak forced the filming to cease. Later, a sad accident on set resulted in the deaths of three staff members, putting the project on hold for years. The shooting was also postponed due to a disagreement between Lyca Productions and the film’s director, S Shankar. After a long wait and settling all the issues, the filming has finally been completed and is all set to hit the big screens.
