2018 was the year of weddings with names like Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tying the knot. It seems the trend is going to continue in 2019. Reportedly, Priteik Babbar, son of Smita Patil and Raj Babbar, is all set to marry Sanya Sagar on January 22 and 23.
According to Mumbai Mirror, Prateik and Sanya will host a two-day ceremony at the end of January, which will be followed by a grand reception for friends and relatives in Mumbai. However, there is no official confirmation from the couple or their families yet.
The two got engaged in the presence of close friends and family members in Lucknow in January last year. The two took to Instagram to share the big news of their engagement
Sharing an adorable photo with her fiancee and Prateik wrote, "#monday.. "holy snappp!.. that just happened!"
Earlier, speaking to a publication about his engagement the actor was quoted saying, "Sanya and I, along with our families, decided that something as pure as love should be solemnised on an auspicious day and what better day than Basant Panchami. She’s the best partner I could have asked for. It didn’t take me long to figure out that she was the one for me. I know it sounds clichéd, but I can’t stop counting my blessings and thanking God for all the good that is happening in my life."
