Sonam Kapoor is having a quality family life. The actress recently jetted off to the Maldives for a vacation with her husband Anand Ahuja, her son Vaayu, sister Rhea Kapoor and brother-in-law Karan Boolani. As their vacation came to an end, Sonam treated her Insta fam with a few glimpses from their “magical” trip, highlighting the wonderful moments spent with her family. Reportedly, the family also marked Karan Boolani’s birthday during the trip.
The actress posted a series of pictures and videos from her family getaway featuring some of the most picturesque locations in the Maldives. The post proves that Sonam’s trip was a wholesome mix of family, fun and food. The dump was accompanied by a long heartfelt note that read, “As we conclude our incredible family vacation, I find myself thinking about the memorable experiences we’ve enjoyed. This trip was nothing short of magical—a wonderful escape that restored our spirits and strengthened our friendships.”

The album began with the actress standing near the sea with her son Vaayu and a video of a stunning beach view from her room. Talking about this, she mentioned, “The moment we arrived, the spectacular beauty of the islands took our breath away. The turquoise waters, soft white sands and vibrant coral reefs provided a stunning backdrop for our family outings. Every sunrise felt like a gift, reminding us of the beauty in each new day.”
Sonam Kapoor also shared that she enjoyed several fun activities such as snorkelling among colourful fishes and playing beach games. “Vayus’s excitement at finding the glories of nature was infectious, filling our hearts with appreciation,” she added.
What also stood out in Sonam’s photo dump were her incredible ensembles. Her vacation-perfect outfits included a black monokini, a bright green cocktail dress and a stunning red dress with a plunging neckline.
She concluded her post by sharing that the trip has reminded them of the importance of family time. “We’ve returned not just rejuvenated, but with a greater appreciation for one another and the wonderful world around us. We leave with hearts full of love, memories that will last a lifetime,” she wrote.
On the work front, Sonam Kapoor recently revealed that she would start filming for her first project post-pregnancy early next year. Sharing the news, she said, “I’m super excited to face the camera again post my pregnancy. I love being an actor and I love living so many interesting characters through my profession. Human beings fascinate me and I love playing varied roles. I’m looking forward to my next.”
